Age: 24 - from Ogden - Utah
Alex Leblanc was born and raised exploring the Wasatch mountains of Utah.
After some years spent alpine skiing, snowboarding and downhill mountain biking, he switched to telemark in 2013. His inspiration to telemark ski came from an early age, watching his uncle rip turns at Snowbird.
Every season he skies the Wasatch backcountry with some of the best, and continue to learn. His two home resorts Snowbasin and Alta have become his playgrounds. Telemark skiing has given him many opportunities to travel and enrich his experience. Every year he goes somewhere new, he've skied in British Columbia, Canada, and most recently the French and Swiss Alps.
While part of The Freeheel Life Crew, he was invited to Europe by Pierre Mouyade the owner and engineer of The M-Equipment's Meidjo tele binding. Traveling continues to open his mind about the places he can ski endless powder. When he's not chasing new lines in the backcountry or spinning laps at a new resort, he'll be over at Freeheel life taking care of your telemark knee.
