- At what age did you start skiing? -
- When and why did you start telemarking? I started telemark in 2010 when I was 10 years old. I was bored in downhill skiing and I wanted to change disciplines but not wanting to do like the others who went snowboarding, I started telemarking at the Club des Houches.
- What do you like about telemarking? Telemark is a complete sport with giant, cross-country skiing and jumping. It is important to have muscular strength but also to be enduring to be able to perform all season long. The atmosphere between us is warm, we have fun all the time even in competition! In addition, we stand out from other skiers on the slopes.
- What do you like about Meidjo bindings? It was my trainer Seb Mansard who put me on meidjos at first, and since then I haven't been able to return to NTN standards. The sensations of returning to the skis are obvious to me (i. e. by forcing on our ski the energy is sent back to us when we change direction).
- What is your favorite place to telemark? Of course in my Chamonix valley! You can be on the slopes and enjoy Mont-Blanc with telemark on your feet, it's just fun.
- What is your next destination or place where you would like to go telemarking? The next competition destination is not yet scheduled but I would like to go skiing (telemark), one day in Japan! What a dream this powdery powder with telemark!
- Did you compete? Yes, I compete. My best place this season was a 10th place at the World Cup in Praloup. The French Cups are coming so I can't tell you yet the results of this season but last year I finished 3rd in FIS behind Argeline Tan-Bouquet and Jasmine Taylor and 1st U21 (category under 21).
- What is your job? For the moment I am a student in Grenoble.
- What other sports activities or other activities do you practice? I do a lot of physical training during periods when we don't have our skis on. It makes me touch everyone full of sport: wheel-skiing, running, cycling, weight training... Otherwise I've been dancing and playing the flute for a long time.
